Dr. Jacquelyn Scott was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She attended Acadia University and received her Bachelor of Science with Honours in 2009. She was then accepted to Dalhousie University where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013.
Dr. Scott began her career practicing in London, Ontario at a private dental clinic, as well as serving as a clinical instructor at the Western University Faculty of Dentistry for five years. Following her time in Ontario, she was then able to gain international dental experience as she worked in Adelaide Australia for one year. Dr. Scott has a strong family connection to dentistry and is in fact Dr. MacPherson’s cousin. She is excited to start serving patients in the Bedford Community at Southgate Dentistry.
Dr. Scott has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients with varying oral health care needs. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in building trusting relationships with her patients in order to help them achieve and maintain their oral health goals.
Outside of the dentistry, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. She is an avid runner and enjoys travelling and reading.
